This sitting brown lop-eared rabbit, which is also known as a lop rabbit, has soft velour ears that droop and soft caress able plush fur. Lop-eared refers to the rabbit’s long floppy ears. Rabbits are sociable and live underground in community groups whereas hares live alone above the ground. Male rabbits are called bucks and females are called does. The Lop-eared rabbit’s ears are an essential thermoregulator since rabbits cannot sweat.
