The process of freeze drying involves extracting most of the moisture leaving behind a drier, slightly crumbly product which retains the original flavour.
We really wanted to introduce you to the world of coprolites which are fossilised poo. Coprolites tell paleontologists a lot about the animal including their diet which informs researchers on whether the animal was a carnivore or a plant eater.
Did you know there is a museum in Arizona USA which is dedicated to the display and research on coprolites. It is called the Poozeum
